Z-kai Inventive School’s Elementary School and logo announcement

Zoshinkai Holdings Inc. via President and CEO Takaaki Fujii; hereafter collectively referred to as the Z-kai Group is pleased to announce new information about the Elementary Schools of the "Z-kai Inventive School," which will be opening sequentially from the fall 2025 in Toyota Woven City, which is managed and operated by Woven by Toyota, Inc. (CEO and Representative Director Hajime Kumabe). The creation of a new logo is included in the announcement.

 

 

 

Based on the philosophy of "Excellence in education for future global leaders" the Z-kai Group provides a wide range of educational services, including correspondence and classroom education, plus sales of educational materials to educational corporations and cram schools, for a wide range of age groups ranging from young children to university students and working adults. For 94 years since its founding, the Company has provided high-quality educational services, including Z-kai's correspondence education, developing real academic ability by tackling carefully selected good questions and written answers. In recent years, the Company has also been pursuing the creation of new educational services, incorporating the latest digital learning methods that utilize ICT.

In a press release dated 7th January 2025 entitled [Z-kai Group opens “Z-kai Inventive School” in Toyota Woven City], it described a human-centered city, a living laboratory and an ever-evolving city that paves the way for the next generation of movement.
In addition, as announced in our press release dated 21st May 2025 [Z-kai Group is accepting applications for Pre-School students and children at the Z-kai Inventive School in Toyota Woven City], we have released details about the Nursery school and After-School Programs at Z-kai Inventive School and started accepting applications.

Following on from these press releases, we are now releasing information about the Elementary school, the third school in the Z-kai Inventive School series.

The Concept

We nurture innovative intelligence and sensibility in a child-centered way.
At Z-kai Inventive School, we aim to nurture children's innovative intelligence and sensibility, and to develop talented people who can contribute to the innovation and development of society.

We believe that at this time, children with innovative intellects and sensibilities who can invent things to achieve goals "for someone else" will be able to contribute to the innovation and development of society.
To achieve this, we value the idea of ​​being "Child Centered."
Toyota Woven City also aims to be a "human-centered" city, and the Montessori education method that forms the basis of this School's education which similarly emphasizes a child-centered approach.
Rather than forcing children to adapt to the convenience of adults, time constraints, or the environment, at the School we place the child at the center of everything we do; demonstrating, inventing, and embodying the excellence in education.

Located inside the Toyota Woven City; 1117 Mishuku, Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
The classes listed below will require on-site attendance, but we will also be introducing online programs in the future.

The target

or children in grades 1 to 6 of elementary school. In the first year, however, we will accept children in grades 1 to 3 of elementary school.
Both children of Toyota Woven City residents and non-residents are welcome to attend.

Overview of the Elementary School

This is a full-time school* for elementary school students.
Based on the methodology of Montessori education, the school provides learning that is in line with the contents of curriculum guidelines.
In addition, the school takes advantage of Toyota Woven City's unique technology and offers project-based learning, individual work, and exploratory learning using STEAM and other techniques.

*The school is not an Article 1 school (an elementary school as stipulated by Article 1 of the School Education Act) . It is positioned as a free school.

The establishment of the logo

Alongside releasing information about the Elementary School, we would also like to announce the creation of a logo for "Z-kai Inventive School."

The shield-shaped crest design expresses trust and tradition, while also reflecting innovation through its simple lines. It contains the "Z" for the Z-kai Group, the "I" for the Z-kai Inventive School, and a Pegasus, which symbolizes culture, freedom, and sincerity.
With regard to the color scheme, the Z-kai Group has adopted the group philosophy of "Excellence in education for future global leaders", and has decided to create a school that demonstrates, invents, and embodies the "Excellence in education". The color scheme is based on the Z-kai blue that the Z-kai Group has used up until now. Here we also have "Child Centered" proudly displayed in-line with approach that the school values.

By establishing a logo that visually expresses the philosophy and image of our school, as referenced above, we hope to encourage children to feel attached to the school they attend. This extends to parents, local residents, those involved in Toyota Woven City, and school staff who we also want to share and empathize with the school's spirit and values.

 

 

The Nursery School is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025, while the Elementary School and After-School Programs are scheduled to open in 2026. More information about the schools will be posted on the above website.

Going forward, as an inventor in Toyota Woven City, the Z-kai Group will continue to create new services in the education field, innovating in the Japanese education market, and contributing to the development of education from a global perspective.
